From 26-28 September 2019 the Conference on Interdisciplinary Musicology (CIM19) took place at the Centre for Systematic Musicology.
The theme of the event was "Embodiment in Music" - What does it really mean for music cognition to be embodied?
The aim of this conference was to foster collaborations between scholars working in the humanities and the sciences to critically engage with this question, and explore the main theoretical, empirical, and performative challenges that embodiment poses in the musical domain.
CIM19 has been a great success with a wide range of topics being addressed.
We are proud of our participants, our keynotes, our technical team and our student team!
