The
Conference on Applied Interculturality Research was held with about 100 participants from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Croatia, Denmark,Germany, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland,Portugal,Russia, United Arab Emirates, the UK and the USA.

Bisesi presents at the Second Vienna Talk on Music Acoustics a paper entitled “An accent-based approach to automatic rendering of piano performance” (co-authored by Parncutt).

29 September – 3 October 2010, Marburg, Germany:
Invited research presentations at 5. At the Kongress der Gesellschaft für Musiktheorie: Kreativität, Struktur und Emotion, Bisesi presents a poster (co-authored by Parncutt) entitled “An accent-based approach to music analysis. Preliminary Results”.

11 October 2010, Centre:
Guest lecture presented by Daniele Buccio (Italien) entitled Historical reception of Carl Stumpf's theory of perceptualfusion as a psychological basis for musical consonance.

22 October 2010, Museum of Ethnology, Vienna:
Opening of the ethnographic photo exhibition Unsichtbare Welten - Mensch / Natur / Übernatur. Brabec contributes with title and concept; organisation by the association EMLAAK. Brabec provides four exhibits. Open from 22.10.2010 to 14.2.2011.

3 and 9 November 2010, Resowi (University of Graz/Centre):
Guest Lectures by Bruno Gingras (Montreal/London) in individual courses about "Music performance research: An overview of the developments in the last twenty years" (in Music Performance Research) and about "Expressive strategies and artistic individuality in organ performance" (in Kolloquium zu aktuellen Forschungsfragen).
